A great watch strap should feel considered from the first touch. The right choice balances the watch case, the wearer’s wrist and the way the watch will be used every day.
Start with the lug width
Measure the distance between the lugs of the watch case in millimetres. This is the most important starting point because the strap must sit securely and align cleanly with the case.
Choose the material for the way you wear the watch
Calf leather offers a refined everyday feel, while crocodile hornback and python bring a stronger texture and a distinctive presence. Consider the watch, your wardrobe and how the material will age over time.
Refine the details
Colour, stitching, lining, edge finishing and buckle choice can change the character of the finished strap. If you are unsure, our atelier can help you compare options before you decide.
